President Cardoso of Brazil to Visit Washington

Bush, Cardoso will meet at White House on November 8

Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso will meet with President Bush in Washington on November 8, according to a November 2 press release issued by the White House.

President Cardoso of Brazil to Visit Washington

The President will welcome President Fernando Henrique Cardoso to the White House for a meeting on November 8. The President looks forward to continuing his ongoing dialogue with President Cardoso. The United States and Brazil value close cooperation on hemispheric and global issues. This meeting will be an important opportunity for the two leaders to discuss the anti-terrorism campaign, regional security matters, economic cooperation, and other common interests.
