Visit to Washington by Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi

President Bush will welcome Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for a working visit on October 15, 2001. Italy has strongly supported the United States in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks. This visit is an important step in President Bush's efforts to build a strong international coalition in the war against terrorism.
