Report to the President: Global Steel Trade -- Structural Problems and Future Solutions
This International Trade Administration report examines market-distorting practices and trade barriers in the global steel industry. The U.S. Trade Deficit: Causes, Consequences and Recommendations for Action
The November 2000 report of the congressionally mandated U.S. Trade Deficit Commission examines the causes and sustainability of the U.S. trade and current account deficits. The report, in presenting the viewpoints of both the commission's Republican and Democratic members, offers a balanced assessment of the situation.
