Text: Iraqi President al-Yawer to meet with Bush in Washington
(Discussions to include Iraqi elections, security measures) (170)
Iraqi President Ghazi al-Yawer will visit President Bush at the White House December 6. The two will discuss the January 30, 2005, Iraqi elections and U.S. support for Iraq's security forces.
President al-Yawer is leading an official delegation that includes four Iraqi ministers. This will be the Iraqi president's second state visit to the United States since assuming office June 1. Bush and al-Yawer met at the Group of Eight's summit in Sea Island, Georgia, June 9.

STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY
President Bush will welcome President Ghazi al-Yawer of Iraq to the White House on December 6. President Bush and President al-Yawer will discuss their vision for U.S.-Iraqi relations, the upcoming Iraqi elections in January, and U.S. support for the Iraqi Security Forces.
