IIP to Offer Web Site on Bush Transition to Second Term

The Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs is pleased to announce a new Web page detailing the transition into the second term of the Bush administration. The new page can be accessed at http://usinfo.state.gov/special/transition.html

The transition period began on November 3 and will continue until Inauguration Day on January 20, 2004. A smooth transition is a key element in the orderly transfer of power in American democracy. The Web site will provide biographies of key officials in the administration, as well as highlight any changes in the president's Cabinet or to administration foreign policy.
