Meeting Between Deputy Secretary Armitage and New Zealand National Party Leader, Dr. Don Brash
Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage met June 3 with Dr. Don Brash, leader of the New Zealand opposition National Party. The two discussed a wide range of issues, including U.S.-New Zealand relations and developments in Iraq. Deputy Secretary Armitage reiterated U.S. appreciation for New Zealand's contributions to reconstruction in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
