STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

Visit by Prime Minister Goh of Singapore

President Bush will meet Prime Minister Goh of Singapore on June 11. The United States and Singapore have excellent bilateral relations, including a robust defense partnership and strong economic ties. The U.S.-Singapore relationship helps contribute to peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region. The meeting will reaffirm the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Singapore and the United States.
