ARMITAGE, GROSSMAN CONFIRMED BY FULL SENATE

The U.S. Senate March 23 confirmed by unanimous consent Richard Armitage to be Deputy Secretary of State and Marc Grossman to be Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs.

They can now be sworn-in for those positions by Secretary of State Colin Powell.
