STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

Visit of Philippine President Joseph Estrada

At the invitation of President Clinton, President Joseph Estrada of the Philippines will make an Official Working Visit to Washington, D.C., July 26-28. President Estrada will meet with the President and other senior Administration officials to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues as well as to further strengthen the close ties between the United States and the Republic of the Philippines.
