Seek Peace, Stop Violence

The American Muslim Council condemns today's bombing of the hotel in the town of Netanya, Israel and calls on all who respect human life to stop the violence now and to eliminate the causes for such violence.

The first day of the Passover observance commemorates the freedom and exodus of the Israelites from ancient Egypt. We call on all in the peace process to dedicate themselves to human rights and respect for life, and to do whatever is necessary to ensure freedom, security and deliverance from all forms of tyranny and violence.
