Washington File Staff WriterWashington -- The People's Republic of China should immediately release the crew and Navy aircraft that made an emergency landing on Hainan, says a proposed resolution introduced into the House of Representatives April 3 by Representative James Traficant (Democrat of Ohio).
House Concurrent Resolution 96 (H. Con. Res. 96) would express the sense of the Congress that Beijing should release both the crew and reconnaissance aircraft "immediately and intact," in accordance with international law.
H. Con. Res. 96 was referred to the House International Relations Committee.
