We
invite you to read the experiences of several participants of the
98/99 Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program.
Amy
Wilson, a Spanish teacher from Red Bluff Union High School in California,
taught English as a second language at the Instituto Nacional in Santiago,
Chile.
Sabra
Beck spent the year in Istanbul, Turkey teaching English, history
and geography at Gokdil College in Istanbul. She was on leave from Marana
High School in Tuscon, Arizona, where she teaches English literature
classes.
Nancy
Klenk, a high school French teacher from Antioch, California, spent
the year teaching English as a foreign language at the Lycee Behanzin
in Porto-Novo, Benin.
Phil
Hennessey spent the 98/99 school year in Vantaa, Finland at the
Tikkurila International School. His home school is Enselnd Elementary
School in Modesto, California.
Lynn
Ditchfield, from Martha's Vineyard, taught English at five different
schools in Argentina in a semester-long exchange with her partner, Maria
Pasini.
Paz
Cepeda taught Spanish at Red Bluff Union High School in California.
Her home school is the Instituto Nacional in Santiago, Chile where she
teaches English as a second language.
